Bull, Large (half) 1001-1400 lbs live weight. Carcass weight is about 50% of live weight. Purchase price per pound is based on hanging wet carcass weight on day of slaughter. Organ meat / offal not included–available pending other buyer preferences at same price /#. Take-home packaged meat is about 60-80% of wet carcass weight (losses due to fluid, water loss during dry aging in cooler + waste/gristle/tendons/bone), less if you request all boneless cuts.
I can deliver the animal to the butcher of your choice for $1.50/mile (one way). Buyer pays butcher a separate fee for slaughter, packing, and wrapping, and picks up finished meat directly from butcher. As of 10/2022, butcher fees are around $1/lb live weight or $1.75/# wet carcass weight + $65 kill fee. I can also pick up your frozen meat from the butcher and deliver to your home for $0.75/mile (round trip), if requested.
If you wish to slaughter and butcher the animal yourself on the farm, the price for this is negotiable, depending upon how much help you want and whether you want your meat packed, wrapped, labeled, and frozen (30-50 cts/lb).
