Vegetation Control Sheep & Goat Rental

Goats and sheep are $12/day per animal, with a $2 deposit per rental animal.  Please contact me via text (706-513-3938) with location needing clearing and questions.

This is for rental of sheep and goats to clean up vegetation at detention ponds, overgrown fields and slopes, and any areas needing vines, weeds, excess foliage removed.  Sheep and goats are ideal where heavy equipment cannot easily access or where a more quiet means of cleaning an area of vegetation is preferred.

Here’s how it works:  if you have a fenced area within 15-20 miles of Harlem needing clearing and grubbing, make a reservation for animals.  I will review the location and ensure the fencing is secure to keep the herd protected from predators, and we will agree on a tentative number of animals and number of days.  I will then bring a livestock trailer with a water and feed tank, and chain it to a secure location in the area needing cleaning, connecting a hose to a nearby water source (faucet).  I will plan to check the animals daily.

Price is $12 per animal per day.  I can provide 10 to 25 animals.  Charging stops when you call me or text to pick up unless we’ve agreed to a certain number of days beforehand. Reserve by choosing how many sheep/goat days you want.  E.g. for 15 animals for 3 days, reserve 15, and I will enter the 3 days (weight).  Each animal consumes an average of 20 lbs of foliage per day.  Price page list price per pound, but it means price per day.  For weight, it should say number of days.
